House of Prayer

‘Listening Heart’ is taken from Solomon~~Solomon prayed that God would give him a discerning heart, a listening heart, and God granted that request.
1 Kings 4:29-34

‘God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore. Solomon’s wisdom was greater than the wisdom of all the people of the East, and greater than all the wisdom of Egypt. He spoke three thousand proverbs and his songs numbered a thousand and five. He spoke about plant life, from the cedar of Lebanon to the hyssop that grows out of walls. He also spoke about animals and birds, reptiles and fish. From all nations people came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, sent by all the kings of the world who had heard of his wisdom.’

“For no other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”  Corinthians 3:11 

House of Prayer is your heart, your home, your Church.  It is God’s way of releasing His blessings of grace and consolations.  He touches us, here and now, through the Sacraments for all people who believe in Him and His love.  Jesus is the Head of the Church and the power within the Church is the Holy Spirit.

We, the children of God need to do what is ours to do, walking with the  power of the Holy Spirit, to establish a culture of prayer and worship, through our example and evangelization.  Worship and intercession are among the few things that we do in our earthly life as well as in eternity.
